Payroll Accountant


Main responsibilities:

  • Complete processing of payroll:
    • Common monthly processing of wages
    • Registration and deregistration of employees at the appropriate offices
    • Processing of statements for health insurance companies, social insurance companies, tax authorities
    • Processing of annual tax reconciliations
  • Processing of pension insurance records, preparation of various certificates for employees
  • Communication with insurance companies and state institutions
  • Preparation of documents for accounting
  • Reporting according to individual client requirements
  • Processing of HR statistical reports
  • Monitoring of legislative changes related to the wage agenda
  • Active communication with the assigned portfolio of clients

The work method is mainly in electronic form, whilst considering the automation of inputs and outputs.



  • Secondary or University education
  • Professional experience on the position of a senior payroll accountant: duration minimum 1 year
  • Knowledge of Slovak labour law, social security, health insurance and personal income tax
  • Computer literacy at an advanced level: MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, Internet
  • Active knowledge of English or German at communicative level, minimum level B1
  • Ability to comply with deadlines
  • Flexibility, precision, autonomy
  • Good communication and organizational skills, pleasant behaviour


Salary: starting from EUR 1,100 (depending on professional experience and abilities)
Employment start date: ASAP or upon agreement
